Bear Lake Conditions 11-30-2015


The snow has arrived. There is probably 4″ in Garden City. Enough to drive snowmobiles from all our cabins.

Bear Lake conditions, 11/30/2015:

Approximate Lake Temperature: 34.7 degrees as measured in the Bear Lake State Park Marina. Some ice is starting to form inside the marina. The main channel de-icers have been turned on.

Current Lake Elevation: 5911.15′. Full elevation is 5923.65′.
The 2015 high point was 5914.45′. The low point for 2015 was 5911.15′.

Air Temperature: This past week, daytime high temperatures have ranged from the low 20’s to the low 30’s. The nighttime low temperatures have ranged from the single digits to the low 20’s.

Launch Ramp Info: Rainbow Cove launch ramp has @ 32″ of water on the end of the concrete. Wave action has been creating a drop off at the end of the concrete. Please use caution when launching larger boats.
First Point launch ramp has @ 44″ of water on the end of the launch ramp.

Fishing Info: The whitefish are in and being caught rather easily.
