Bear Lake Area Conditions 11-9-15

The Bear Lake area got it’s first snow of the winter. Nothing sticking to the ground in the valley, but a trace is in the mountains. Get your snowmobile warmed up and ready.


Bear Lake conditions, 11/9/2015:

Approximate Lake Temperature: 45.7 degrees as measured in the Bear Lake State Park Marina.

Current Lake Elevation: 5911.4′. Full elevation is 5923.65′.
The 2015 high point was 5914.45′. The low point for 2015 was 5911.4′.

Air Temperature: This past week, daytime high temperatures have ranged from the low 40’s to the low 50’s. The nighttime low temperatures have ranged from the mid 20’s to the mid 40’s.

Launch Ramp Info: Rainbow Cove launch ramp has @ 35″ of water on the end of the concrete. Wave action has been creating a drop off at the end of the concrete. Please use caution when launching larger boats.
First Point launch ramp has @ 47″ of water on the end of the launch ramp.
